NATURALLY SLEEPING WITH SHEEP WOOL
The MedSalus sheep's wool products are filled with the finest virgin sheep's wool in Merino quality. The special quilting of the duvets means they adapt perfectly to the body and contribute to optimal heat distribution. They are moisture and heat regulating, odor-inhibiting, self-cleaning, and all of this without the use of chemicals or petroleum products. The sheep's wool products are lovingly handcrafted in the small MedSalus factory.
As a doctor, but also as a person, I know how important, health-promoting and beneficial restful sleep is. My personal concern and that of the entire MedSalus team is to produce the most natural and highest quality duvets.
GERFRIED LEXERThe MedSalus sheep's wool duvets are filled with natural and finest fleece made from virgin sheep's wool in Merino quality. Thanks to the manufacturing process optimized specifically for MedSalus, the fleece is particularly fluffy and cuddly and the sheep's wool retains all of its valuable properties. Neither chemicals nor petroleum products, such as artificial fibers, are found in the duvets.
The independent Hohenstein Textile Testing Institute has confirmed that MedSalus sheep's wool has excellent test results as well as Merino quality.
The new sheep's wool needs air in order to fully develop its moisture- and heat-regulating, odor-inhibiting and self-cleaning properties. That's why MedSalus had a corresponding cover developed. The cover, made from untreated cotton and certified by OEKO-Tex, allows the wool to breathe and ensures that its sleep-promoting benefits come into their own.
In a small factory located in an old caravanserai in Marrakesh, the sheep's wool duvets are carefully made by hand. The quality standards at MedSalus are among the highest and production is controlled down to the smallest seam. The local employees are one of MedSalus' most important resources and every blanket is produced fairly.
Above-average pay and other social benefits increase the quality of life of employees. Young unemployed people and single mothers are employed, whose children's school fees are paid by MedSalus. The aim is to counteract the unemployment and difficult living conditions that prevail there through production in Marrakesh.
The MedSalus sheep's wool duvets are the result of an intensive and lengthy product development process. Gerfried Lexer spent almost two years optimizing and maturing the MedSalus products. A doctor and scientist at heart, he set his personal quality standards very high and then implemented them accordingly.
