Optimal sleep comfort
The MedSalus sheep wool products are filled with finest sheep shearing wool in merino quality. Due to the special quilting of the comforters, they adapt perfectly to the body and contribute to optimal heat distribution. They are moisture and temperature regulating, odor inhibiting, self-cleaning, and all of this without the use of chemicals and petroleum products. The sheep wool products are lovingly handcrafted in the small MedSalus manufactory.
As a physician, but also as a human being, I know how important, health-promoting, and beneficial restorative sleep is. My personal goal and that of the entire MedSalus team is to produce the most natural and highest quality blankets.
GERFRIED LEXERInner values count
The MedSalus sheep wool blankets are filled with natural and finest fleece made from Merino quality sheep's wool. Thanks to the manufacturing process specially optimized for MedSalus, the fleece is particularly fluffy and cuddly and the sheep wool retains all its valuable properties. Neither chemicals nor petroleum products, such as synthetic fibers, can be found in the blankets.

The independent Hohenstein Textile Testing Institute has confirmed the Merino quality of MedSalus sheep wool in addition to excellent test results.
But the outer values also count.
Sheep's wool needs air to fully develop its moisture and temperature regulating, odor-reducing, and self-cleaning properties. Therefore, MedSalus had a corresponding cover developed. The cover made of untreated cotton, certified by OEKO-Tex, allows the wool to breathe and ensures that its sleep-promoting advantages are fully realized.
Fair and sustainably produced:
Our manufactory in Marrakech
In a small workshop located in an old caravanserai in Marrakech, the sheep wool blankets are carefully handcrafted. The quality standards at MedSalus are among the highest, and production is monitored down to the smallest seam. The employees on-site are among the most important resources of MedSalus, and each blanket is produced fairly.
Above-average pay and additional social benefits enhance the quality of life for employees. Young unemployed individuals and single mothers are employed, for whose children the school fees are paid by MedSalus. The goal is to counteract the prevailing unemployment and difficult living conditions in Marrakech through production.
PRODUCT DEVELOPMENT
The MedSalus sheep wool blankets are the result of an intensive and lengthy product development process. For almost two years, Gerfried Lexer spent optimizing and refining the MedSalus products. With a background in medicine and science, he set his personal quality standards very high in order to implement them accordingly.
